Well, this is the last photo at least for now of the altered ABC recipe book that I made for my son and future daughter-in-law. To read a bit more about it go to the "Z" page. I'm still not sure how I managed to finish it in just two days and an hour on the morning I was going to give it to her. It was a success as far as I'm concerned. I loved making it. My mom, grandma and sister enjoyed sharing their recipes, and the recipient liked it too.

Wow, that's amazing! I bet your son and his fiancee are really pleased with the book - all the old photos and then recipes and colour too. I'd be really chuffed if anyone ever gave me a gift like that! Maybe I'll do one for daughter who is getting married in November. Will take me longer as she's a vegetarian, so will have to miss a lot of recipes that came from my Mum. Also she doesn't really like most veg and fruit! Makes it kinda hard to know what to cook for her! ;-)
I am so impressed! I've been on a dry spell lately. The only thing happening on my art table is a calendar page for the month of April. It's been a challenge to fill in a small square for each day and here you've done an entire recipe book in just a few days. YOU ROCK!
