Thanks for reminding me I want to get that book! I bought the "Making Journals by Hand" on your recommendation.
And I enjoyed reading your description of how you prep your pages. I am slowly beginning to experiment with painted backgrounds. Yesterday I painted over a collage with paint but I almost covered it too much (I did use a credit card to spread the paint). Maybe I need to look for some of those Dollar General sponges.
