Mom came home this week with the pictures her cousin gave her of my great-grandfather and his inlaws, my great-great-grandparents. We had never seen photos of any of these relatives. There were also several documents in Italian and a couple in English. J used to tease me about meeting dead relatives, but that's almost what it feels like.

I LOVE this spread! It reminds me of Lynne P's pages with the color and old photo. But it's so much more because it's personal and intimate due to the photo and text as opposed to purchased "relatives."
Thanks. That's probably not a coincidence. I was looking at Lynn's book just before I went up to journal. I didn't take the book with me though, so this is my interpretation I guess. I was wanting to journal about my new photos and her page appealed to me.
