Sept. 26 page. I grabbed a magazine page, a catalog page and a receipt that were laying on a table and went to work. I wanted something spontaneous after the planned grid page I did the day before. 

Ideas for journaling. I finished the page on Sept. 27. It was started a couple of weeks earlier. This is one of the first drawings I've attempted in my journals and by far the biggest. I drew it at my sister's house. The blurry boxes at the bottom are printouts of the pages by Jill Haddaway that inspired the last page I posted. I didn't want to infringe on her copyright. 

Sept. 25th journal page all about journaling. This page was inspired by a page of Jill Haddaway's. That's me in the circle when I was 12. The rubber stamps are from a grab bag from http://www.melaniesage.com/ . The stamp in the lower right corner is just an eraser that I cut with a serrated knife to make it smaller. The serrated edge makes a great background stamp. The dots are acrylic paint sponged through the release paper for hole reinforcers.

This is the title page for my weekly AB journal. It was my first try at using a glaze. I love the way it turned out. I think the title, Second Generation Journal: Beyone Words is really appropriate since I am going from a written journal to a visual journal with this book.

That was almost too easy

Before I knew what I was doing I had posted my address on the web for the world to see. It took me longer to get it down than it did to put it up there. A pass through Photoshop and the blur tool and now the page is back up sans personal info.

I have been going crazy with my composition journal since I discovered that a little cheap acrylic paint sponged on the pages takes away the lines and keeps ink from bleeding through. It also keeps the pages from wrinkling when you glue something in.

I've been reading blogs off and on for a while now and suddenly on a whim I decided that I need one. It seems like an easy way to share things with others. We'll see.
