We went to see the St. Olaf Band in concert this weekend. It was wonderful! I loved everything about it. During intermission, I suddenly had the urge to sketch the harpist tuning her harp. I didn't have any paper in my purse, but I found a part of the program that didn't have any photos and went to work. I was hesitant to try the harpist, but I did manage to make a fair representation of the harp. This is the first time I have sketched in public unless you count sitting at a table in the library and sketching.
