My journals have words

My reason for finally hitting the blog this button though was the Street Team Cat Got Your Tongue crusade #30. My journal pages have words. Almost all of them. So much so that when I was working on a page for Crusade #29, which I never got around to posting, I wrote, "If I had anything to say I would put it here."

It may be because I started out as a text only journaler. For me it's about recording the moment and that just calls for words. It would be interesting to go back and see how many of the many journal pages I've done haven't had any words. Off hand I can just think of one spread. My.

If you are interested in what I've been up to in the months since I've posted, check out my flickr site.

{whack}{whack} YES, you have been a bad bad blogger!

LOL, you are lucky, that was a virtual cyberspace flyswatter...

That's okay, though, just keep up the awesome work! You are definitely stepping it up a notch BAM! and I'm lovin' it. That Befunky site is funky-licious, thanks! Love your pages here and will be checking out the flickr later. {{Hugs}} great to see you posting again! xoxo, Aimes

Dawn - great pages!! Love how you incorporate your journaling. Fun to learn you write on almost every page. Are those your red shoes? I have taken red shoe photos too, I'm an addict. Thanks for coming to play in the crusade - it's been a while since we've seen you.

Dawn - I never thought about it but I too was a texter journaler before adding the art to my journals and so I feel I have no trouble adding words. NEVER, thought of it that way. Love your Paris page!!!! Marlynn

Cool! I love the one where you didn't have anything to say. Especially since you snuck in "Probably just as well that I don't." I don't know why, but that makes me laugh.

Dawn,
I love the playfulness of this page and the variety of lettering styles you employ. That makes it visually interesting...along with the colors, naturally!

Your granddaughter looks a real cutie. And the texture of that Eiffel Tower page is awesome - so scratchy and urban. Love it.
