Shed sketch

Last Sunday I had some time before church, so I sat in the car and sketched an outbuilding at the edge of the parking lot. This is my first try at crosshatching. I'm not sure how successful it was, but I'm glad to get back to sketching.

I used a large headed straight pin dipped in acrylic paint for the green dots. I like how they came out in varied sizes.

I can't believe that I haven't left a comment for you before, Dawn. I love this page - the colors are lovely, and you did a great job with the sketch!

Glad to see you sketching some too. I've been doing a lot more drawing than my composition book activity... also, beading, violin, and writing... seems like I always run out of time. :)
